Aldi will soon be arriving next door to us. It was essential for us to lose our Adult Fiction and Reference areas to make way for their staff workroom. Both collections and reference desks have moved temporarily to make way for the total renovation. Hence a look at our ceiling, temporary lighting and the threat of candle use....
Here is a picture of our roof - and believe it or not.... the hole in the roof is now even bigger.

I don't know what we are going to do with ourselves after the renovations. It will seem so quiet and calm in comparison.
